About This Policy
This Refund Policy describes how refunds are handled for Fargeaux purchases. The policy that applies to your purchase depends on where you bought your Membership or other Fargeaux entitlement.
1. Where You Purchased Matters
Different refund processes apply depending on where you purchased:

2. Refunds for Purchases via fargeaux.com
Refunds for purchases made directly through fargeaux.com are processed by Bonnum Lux Group via Stripe. The following subsections describe the full terms of our refund process.
2.1 Refund Window
You may request a refund within fourteen (14) days of your original purchase date.
2.2 Right of Withdrawal (EU and UK Customers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within fourteen (14) days of the purchase date, without giving any reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
The fourteen-day refund window described in Section 2.1 is intended to align with this statutory right. The conditions described in Section 2.5 (regarding circumstances where refunds may be denied) apply only to the extent permitted by your local consumer law. Where your local consumer law guarantees an unconditional right of withdrawal that cannot be lawfully limited by such conditions, your statutory right of withdrawal applies in full. To exercise your right of withdrawal, follow the process described in Section 2.3 (How to Request a Refund), or contact us using the details in Section 7.
2.3 How to Request a Refund
Email support@fargeaux.com with:
- (a) The email address used at the time of purchase;
- (b) The approximate date and time of purchase;
- (c) The reason for your refund request (optional, but helpful for us to improve the product).
We aim to acknowledge your request within two (2) business days and process approved refunds within seven (7) business days of approval. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at purchase.
2.4 Discretionary Review
Refunds within the fourteen-day window are granted at Bonnum Lux Group's sole discretion. We grant refunds where requests appear to reflect genuine product dissatisfaction, buyer's remorse, or accidental purchase.
2.5 Circumstances Where Refunds May Be Denied
Refund requests may be denied where account usage patterns or other evidence suggest the request is not a genuine evaluation of the product. Specifically:
- (a) Bulk content consumption: where the account has accessed more than seventy percent (70%) of available modules, flashcards, or quizzes within the fourteen-day refund window;
- (b) Repeated refund pattern: where the same purchaser, or a purchaser using the same payment method, name, or address, has previously received a refund and re-purchased;
- (c) Evidence of content extraction: where account behaviour indicates content scraping, screen-capture for redistribution, automated access, or other actions inconsistent with normal personal use;
- (d) Violation of the EULA: where the account has otherwise breached the Fargeaux End User License Agreement.
Where a refund is denied on these grounds, Bonnum Lux Group will provide a brief written explanation of the decision. Refund decisions are final, subject to your rights under applicable consumer protection law (see Section 5).
2.6 Outside the Refund Window
After the fourteen-day window has closed, all sales are final. Memberships and other Fargeaux entitlements are non-refundable outside the fourteen-day window, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.
2.7 Safety Pioneer Cashback
The USD $20 cashback offered upon achievement of the Safety Pioneer milestone (the first 1,000 founding members) is separate from this Refund Policy and is not a refund of the purchase itself. The cashback is awarded by Bonnum Lux Group only when, and if, the milestone of 1,000 all-countries Memberships purchased directly, across all channels, is reached. Safety Pioneer status and the cashback are limited to customers who purchase an all-countries Membership directly. A customer who reaches all-countries access by upgrading from a single-country Membership is not a Safety Pioneer and is not eligible for the cashback.
- (a) fargeaux.com (Stripe) purchases: cashback is paid as a partial refund to your original payment method via Stripe;
- (b) Apple App Store purchases: as Apple does not facilitate partial refunds from developers, cashback is paid by alternative means such as a gift card, direct bank transfer, or PayPal payment, subject to your providing the necessary delivery information when contacted;
- (c) Google Play Store purchases: as Google Play does not facilitate partial refunds for these types of purchases, cashback is paid by alternative means such as a gift card, direct bank transfer, or PayPal payment, subject to your providing the necessary delivery information when contacted.
The cashback applies to every all-countries Membership purchased directly prior to the milestone being reached, regardless of channel, subject to the following delivery mechanisms:
2.8 Refunds and Upgrades
Where you have upgraded from a single-country Membership to all-countries access, the original single-country purchase and the upgrade are treated as separate transactions. Each has its own fourteen-day refund window running from its own purchase date, and each can only be refunded within its own window. If you refund the upgrade within its window, your access reverts to the single country you originally purchased; the original single-country purchase is unaffected. These provisions are subject to your rights under applicable consumer protection law, including the Australian Consumer Law described in Section 5.
3. Refunds for Purchases via the Apple App Store
Refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store are governed by Apple's refund process, not this Refund Policy. Bonnum Lux Group has no authority to grant, deny, or process refunds for App Store purchases.
3.1 How to Request an Apple App Store Refund
Submit refund requests directly to Apple via one of the following channels:
- reportaproblem.apple.com
- The Settings or Subscription management section of your Apple Account
- Contacting Apple Support directly
Apple typically considers refund requests submitted within ninety (90) days of the original purchase date. Apple grants refunds at its sole discretion under its published terms and policies.
3.2 What Bonnum Lux Group Cannot Do
For Apple App Store purchases, Bonnum Lux Group cannot:
- (a) Initiate a refund on your behalf;
- (b) Override or appeal an Apple refund decision;
- (c) Refund the purchase price through any other channel, including Stripe.
3.3 If You Have Issues with the Application Itself
If you experienced a technical problem with Fargeaux, please contact us at support@fargeaux.com before requesting an App Store refund. We may be able to resolve the issue directly without you needing to involve Apple. This will not affect your right to request an Apple refund if the issue cannot be resolved.
4. Refunds for Purchases via the Google Play Store
Refunds for purchases made through the Google Play Store are governed by Google Play's refund policies and procedures. Unlike Apple, Bonnum Lux Group has limited ability to process refunds for Google Play purchases via the Google Play Console after the initial automatic refund window has closed.
4.1 Within 48 Hours of Purchase
Customers may request an automatic refund directly through Google Play within 48 hours of purchase, without contacting us. To do so, visit play.google.com, navigate to your order history, and select Request a refund.
4.2 After 48 Hours
If you are outside the 48-hour automatic refund window, contact us at support@fargeaux.com with your order details. Bonnum Lux Group may, at our discretion and subject to the conditions set out in Section 2.5, approve a refund via the Google Play Console. The forfeit conditions described in Section 2.5 apply to discretionary Google Play refunds in the same manner as they apply to fargeaux.com refunds.
4.3 EU and UK Statutory Rights
Customers in the European Union and United Kingdom retain the same 14-day statutory right of withdrawal described in Section 2.2, regardless of purchase channel. Google Play's refund mechanisms are intended to support these rights, and Bonnum Lux Group will cooperate to ensure your statutory rights are honoured.
5. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot be lawfully excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or other applicable consumer protection legislation.
Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement for major failures, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage, as set out under that law. This is in addition to any refund granted under Section 2 or any rights you may have under Apple's or Google Play's refund processes under Sections 3 and 4. If you believe you have a right to a refund or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that goes beyond what is described in Section 2 of this policy, please contact us at support@fargeaux.com and we will work with you to address your claim.
6. Changes to this Policy
Bonnum Lux Group may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at fargeaux.com/refund-policy. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase, except where a later version provides more favourable terms to you or where a change is required by law.
